Blackberry launches its Blackberry key2 in India with QWERTY keypad!

BlackBerry Mobile has launched the BlackBerry KEY2 phone in India, This is the same KEY2 that was announced by TCL in June, and the only difference is that in India the device is being manufactured by homegrown brand Optiemus Infracom. Only the 64GB black version of the KEY2 will be made available in India and Optiemus will be selling it through Amazon India.

The device got a physical QWERTY keyboard, just like its predecessor.

There should be no broken devices this time around, as the KEY2 seems to feature vastly improved durability compared to its deeply flawed predecessor. Even the use of ancient Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the 4.5-inch display feels like earning high marks for scratch resistance. The ingenious space bar doubling as a fingerprint scanner is also essentially scratch-proof, as are the front and rear camera lenses.

Blackberry key2 price in India

The BlackBerry Key2 price has been set at INR42,990 or about $625. Amazon will offer the phone exclusively, and it will be available with INR4,450 cashback offer from Reliance Jio and ICICI bank. BlackBerry India promised more surprises that will be unveiled on the launch date next Tuesday.
